“Also I wanted to say - THANK YOU SO MUCH - for giving me that extra time this morning - I went away feeling on top of the world - and it has helped me enjoy the rest of my day so much more.”

..Acer Foundation for Global Education and Welfare

Acer Foundation for Global Education and Welfare was founded by Susie last year, and is another one of the branches of the beautiful Acer tree as represented on the logo, indicating the different strands of my business.   It grew from the foundations of another charity, Visions of Glory, with which Susie was associated until 2006, and has developed to encompass all her charitable interests, as she wishes to contribute to the fields of: -

Third world education,
Homelessness,
Animal welfare,
Medical/health,
&
Ecological issues.

We are currently funding the work of schools, colleges and orphanages in Africa and India and are dedicated to educating, training and mentoring necessitous children in these countries and around the rest of the developing world – in fact wherever there is the need.

We’ve helped community colleges in India through the Madras Community College Network, as well as instigating the idea in Kenya - the first such college there was opened by the government Education Minister in January 2005 on the outskirts of Nairobi in a district called Ongata Rongai and is run by Bishop Jeremiah Kibobi.   The Acer Foundation is working with the Kenyan Government’s blessing and the Education Minister personally requested that we open more community colleges as soon as possible, with the target of having one attached to each of the senior schools in the country.

Future plans
These include  setting up a mobile education unit to encompass taking lessons as well as health care and dietary/nursing knowledge into the more rural and inaccessible areas of these countries.

As you will appreciate, this wish-list of ideals
represents a substantial challenge!

By educating just one child, it is possible to take an entire family out of the poverty trap, thus enabling them to provide a home and stability for their family …. the provision of a water hole can transform the life of a community beyond measure.

all these enterprises are undertaken in a non-directive and non-judgemental style.   As you would expect, this is totally conducive and contemporaneous with coaching, together with its’ sister professions of mentoring, supervising and training.
